Praveen Dugar serves as Interim Director of Student Affairs Information Technology, where he provides leadership for technology services, systems, and support functions that advance the work of Student Affairs and enhance the student experience at UCLA. He strives to ensure continuity of operations, responsive service, and effective technology support for students, staff, and campus partners.
Student Affairs Information Technology (SAIT) provides comprehensive IT services to Student Affairs, and Enrollment Management. The services provided by SAIT include network and system administration, desktop support, business analysis, operations support, and application/website design and development. The department manages and supports critical platforms such as Epic, Message Center, undergraduate degree audit system, student service tools, staff productivity applications, and other digital solutions that enable staff to better serve the UCLA student community.
A collaborative senior technology leader, Praveen has a strong track record of translating Student Affairs’ vision, strategy, and operational needs into effective custom and vendor-supported software solutions. His leadership emphasizes student experience, system performance, digital accessibility, integrated platforms, thoughtful data strategies, and scalable tools that improve service delivery, streamline business processes, and increase staff productivity.
Praveen holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a Diploma in Advanced Computing.
