As the Deputy Director and Director of Student Affairs Initiatives for the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs office, kc supports the Vice Chancellor with his initiatives and manages the Vice Chancellor’s involvement with Student Affairs departments. One current initiative is a focus on student leadership development, which includes the Chancellor’s LINK Program and Student Leadership Academies.

kc earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Science at University of California, Irvine and a master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the Ohio State University. She has over 10 years of experience working in higher education including UC Irvine's Medical Center, The Ohio State's Multicultural Center, University of Washington Bothell's Residential Life, and at UCLA's Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs office. kc’s diverse range of work experience provides a broad perspective on how Student Affairs supports the growth and development of students
