Jasmine Rush Dean of Students she, her, hers

Jasmine JS Rush oversees the Office of the Dean of Students (DoS), where the mission is to serve as a portal to understanding the UCLA experience, with a commitment to the personal and intellectual growth and development of our students. Whether DoS is the first office someone comes to for assistance or the last place one thinks to call, the staff members in the DoS are here to help students navigate their UCLA experience. DoS oversees the Office of Student Conduct and Student Legal Services. Student Conduct's mission is to assist students with exercising responsible, ethical, and appropriate choices, while supporting their intellectual growth and personal development. Student Legal Services's mission is to prevent, ameliorate, or resolve legal problems that confront students by providing professional legal counseling and assistance. Student Legal Services also seeks to educate students about their legal rights and responsibilities through informational programs and materials, as well as individual counseling.
Jasmine completed undergraduate and graduate work in Sociology and Education at Georgia Southern University. She has worked at UCLA since 2010. Prior to coming to UCLA, she worked at Columbia University in New York City, and at the University of Florida in the Dean of Students Office, Residential Life, and Student Conduct. She previously served as a chapter advisor for the Golden Key International Honour Society at UCLA. Jasmine is a native of Upstate New York who has a passion for fitness & watching her son compete in golf tournaments -- while her husband caddies.
