Erinn McMahan is the Executive Director of UCLA Recreation, which provides access to a broad range of recreation and wellbeing programs and services. UCLA Recreation manages 15 of the university's competitive sport and recreation facilities and spaces, including Pauley Pavilion, Wallis Annenberg Stadium, and the John Wooden Center. Erinn brings extensive experience in university administration, capital projects, facility and program management, and coaching to his role as executive director. Previously, Erinn served as the Interim Associate Director of Programs and Outreach for UCLA Recreation, and prior to that, as the Program Director for the Marina Aquatic Center. He is the co-lead of the Semel Healthy Campus Initiative’s (HCI) EngageWell pod and a member of the HCI Steering Committee, as well as the chair of the Sports, Recreation, and Training Venues sub-committee and a member of the Coordination Committee for UCLA Los Angeles 28 Olympics.
Erinn received his bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in international relations from the University of California at Santa Barbara. In 2020, he was awarded the Chancellor’s Executive Education Fellowship and attended the Anderson School of Management Executive Education program where he received a certificate in leadership and management.
