Emily Harris Director, Case Management Services she, her, hers

Emily Harris is the Director of Case Management Services. As a Southern California native, Emily graduated with her master’s degree from Bowling Green State University and her bachelor's degree from Chapman University. While at Chapman, she was introduced to the field of Student Affairs through her involvement in student leadership, and her love of supporting students has thrived ever since. Emily has professionally worked in several functional areas in higher education including, but not limited to, residential life, student conduct, disability services, career services, student activities, first-generation college student programs, and case management.
As the Director of Case Management Services, Emily aims to support students who are going through a difficult time so they can pursue their academic and personal goals. Emily has worked in case management since 2008 at both small private and large public institutions. Even with the large volume of enrolled students, she believes UCLA’s strength is in the community’s collective dedication to assisting individual students with their needs and creating unique opportunities for them to grow. Emily loves UCLA students’ enthusiasm for their passions and their determination to see these goals come to fruition.
Outside of UCLA, you’ll find Emily engaging in activities to support her well-being including weightlifting, spinning, yoga, and meditation. She also loves the performing arts, especially watching musical productions.
