COVID-19 Fall Vaccine Requirement

Dear Bruins,

The fall quarter is almost here and we are excited to invite students back to campus. As you have read in the July 15, 2021 message from the University of California Office of the President, University of California students will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days prior to the first day of instruction for the fall term, with limited exceptions. UCLA students can consult the Arthur Ashe Health and Wellness Center electronic patient portal, which contains information necessary for students to comply with the requirement. Students living, learning, or working on campus or other UCLA facilities, who have not yet received a vaccination or uploaded a vaccination verification, will need to do so quickly as time is running out to be in compliance with the Policy.

More information related to the requirement – ranging from vaccine education and verification to general information related to stopping the spread of COVID-19 – can be accessed from the below links:

• Review the most recent COVID-19 Vaccine Education materials.
• Review all information related to immunization requirements at UCLA.
• Verify which vaccines you need to complete, including COVID-19, by logging in to the Ashe Patient Portal and clicking the Medical Clearance section. Your Overall Clearance Status must be listed as "Satisfied." Missing items will have a status of “Not Compliant.”
• If you have not satisfied this vaccination requirement, schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment or submit your request for deferral or an exception.
