The UCLA Chancellor's Leadership, Innovation, Networking and Knowledge (LINK) Program fosters the leadership development, critical thinking and self-reflection, and career readiness of UCLA undergraduate students to best prepare to contribute to society with the passion, experience, and skill sets necessary to thrive once they graduate.

Program Expectations

Selected students for this year's program will:

  1. Participate in an experiential learning trip to Washington D.C. from December 16th through the 22nd to meet and network with national leaders and UCLA alumni.
  2. Attend cohort preparatory meetings will take place on November 17th,  December 1st, and December 8th (Fridays) from 5pm to 7pm.
  3. Enroll in a two-unit seminar course in both Winter 2024 and Spring 2024 quarters which meets on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:50pm and will incorporate guest speakers by campus and community leaders.
  4. Secure an individual career development internship in Summer 2024. Students will receive support from the UCLA Career Center to secure an internship and meet monthly throughout the summer.

 

Application Requirements

Eligibility: The application is open to all UCLA undergraduate students who are in good standing with the university, have at least a 2.0 GPA, and will spend at least one quarter at UCLA after they finish the program in Summer 2024.
