Access to Campus

To help promote a safer environment, campus access will be limited to essential staff, residents, students attending in-person classes, and approved essential visitors.

For anyone who will be coming to campus or living in campus housing, daily symptom monitoring will be required. Students living in campus housing who have questions about how this will affect move-in and visitors can find information on UCLA’s Housings FAQ page.

Face coverings that cover the nose, mouth, and chin will be required in all public spaces across the university. Everyone who visits campus must also follow UCLA’s physical distancing requirements.

Guests & Visitors

To help reduce the flow of traffic, campus will be closed to the general public and only approved essential visitors will be allowed to access campus buildings, spaces, and facilities as outlined in the guidelines above. Reducing the flow of traffic on campus is critical to creating the healthiest environment possible. Individuals who are identified as essential visitors must meet certain health requirements and complete the symptom monitoring protocol to before coming to campus.

Meetings, Events & Gatherings

All in-person gatherings of any size, nonessential meetings, and events are currently suspended and access to rooms and living spaces will be limited according to UCLA Housing’s COVID-19 guidelines.
