Whether you have just arrived at UCLA
or have already been here for some time, we welcome
your extraordinary talent and energy. We share your
expectations and aspirations as a valued, contributing
member of the University’s graduate community.
Student Affairs exists to support you and your educational
mission.
Chancellor Carnesale has strengthened his commitment
to enhance support for the students and faculty at the
heart of our academic enterprise by launching a new
fund-raising initiative: Ensuring Academic Excellence.
This initiative is designed to help us attract and retain
top students and faculty amid increasing competition.
Among its specific goals are 250 graduate fellowships
and scholarships in the UCLA College, and 125 graduate
fellowships and scholarships in UCLA’s professional
schools. Since individual fellowships and scholarships
frequently support multiple graduate students, the initiative
will benefit far more students than the total number
of fellowships and scholarships.
More than likely you are acquainted with University
culture. However, Student Affairs can help you make
the absolute best of UCLA’s academic and broad
educational offerings by enhancing your campus experience.
We encourage you to explore our
wide range of innovative programs and services through
this website, and to take full advantage of these opportunities.
We also hope that in the future you will “give
back” by staying involved with UCLA and supporting
the programs that have particular meaning for you. Please
know that we welcome your suggestions for improving
our programs and services.
Thank You!
