Services to officially-recognized
and independent student organizations are provided primarily
by Center for Student Programming. The Center registers and
assists student groups in the development, design, and implementation
of activities to maximize their educational benefit and to
assure compliance with campus regulations. Staff members also
facilitate the acquisition and distribution of resources to
support student programming and assist with divisional programs
and projects in the areas of student skills development in
leadership, grantsmanship, and group decision-making. In addition,
CSP advises and assists Greek Letter Social Organizations
recognized by the campus and monitors each group's compliance
with its individual recognition agreement. It also oversees
community service programs and the Campus Retention Committee,
and most recently assumed responsibility for coordinating
the technical management of events. |
