The Office of the
Dean of Students, part of the Division of Student & Campus
Life, serves the University community with a variety of programs
and services. Located in 1206 Murphy Hall, the office is open
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
One of the main functions of the office
is to administer the UCLA Student Conduct Code. This document
contains the rules and regulations that govern student conduct.
In the event that a student is alleged to have violated a
student conduct policy the office is the primary adjudicator
of the matter.
Additionally, the office provides a myriad
of services, including linking students, faculty, staff, parents,
and alums to on- and off-campus resources, certifying a student's
judicial standing with the University, and conducting campus-wide
presentations on the topics of academic integrity and ethical
behavior.
Lastly, the office offers thousands of students
a variety of dynamic leadership opportunities. Students involved
in our national and international honor societies engage in
community service for the campus and beyond, promote intellectual
inquiry, and award merit-based scholarships.
Whatever your University-related question,
please consider the Office of the Dean of Students your primary
contact at UCLA. |
