In support of the mission of Student Affairs, the Office Technology Center (OTC) provides a state-of-the-art, campus-wide network infrastructure (SAONET) made of 14 network data closets, fiber-optic circuit connections, routers, and workgroup switches that provide network connectivity for 650 network users and 26 Student Affairs departments. OTC's continued development and maintenance of the Student Affairs Organization Network (SAONET) include network redundancy and network firewall, which will provide the highest level network reliability and security for the Student Affairs network users.

OTC provides "central" computing services comprised of central network applications, e-mail, group scheduling, DNS service, remote access, web hosting, internet services, departmental technology development consulting, and desktop PC support. The Office Technology Center also provides training to departments and to individuals, upon request.
