Mervyn's Presents $5,000 Gift to UCLA Career Center

Bill Locklear, Special Assistant for Development, and Albert E. Aubin, Senior Associate Director for Counseling Services and Campus Relations, gratefully accept a recent $5,000 gift from Mervyn's presented by Lori Antieau, Manager of Recruitment at Mervyn's.

This grant is to be utilized to assist UCLA students with resume development, mock interviews, training, materials, and supplies. Mervyn's spokesperson, Michele Murphy, notes that between September 2003 through May 2004, Mervyn's hired over 150 students from universities that Mervyn’s supported with various grants.
