“The Silk Road to the Future,” 2005 Edition

The Silk Road to the Future trip to China will be taking place this year on July 20 – 26th. This is the 5th year in which UCLA has participated in this amazing trip where students, staff and faculty from UCLA and other UC schools meet their Chinese counterparts in China to develop friendships and participate in cultural exchange. Travelers visit historic sites such Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. The cost of the 7-day trip is $1,332, a great deal that includes roundtrip airfare, 4-5 star luxury accommodations, 3 meals per day, tour guides, ground transportation, admission to all historical sites on trip itinerary, traveler’s insurance, airport departure fees and tips. There are also options to extend your trip to visit Shanghai, Xian and Korea! Deadline for submission of application and full payment is March 1st, 2005.
