Carri Fierro, Community Programs Office, and her family welcomed Marietou Ndiaye. Born on April 13th at 8:03pm. She was 7 lbs. 1 oz and 18 1/2" long. Carrie reports, “We checked into the hospital at 7pm that night and she was born an hour later! She is a very good baby. She only cries when she gets her diaper changed. Saliou is a great big brother too!”
 
Angela Michael, Cultural and ecreational Affairs, writes, “I would like to introduce you to Kayla Suzanne Michael. She was born Sunday, June 19 (Happy Father's Day!) at 9:00am. She's 7 lbs. 9 oz., 21.25 in long, and absolutely beautiful! I am overwhelmed with a sense of gratefulness. I can't believe I'm the mother of such a beautiful human being.
 
Tiffani Garnett, Student Health Education, and her husband, David, welcomed a baby girl, Maya Masako Garnett, on July 8, 2005. Maya weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20 inches long.
 

Paolo Velasco, also in Student Health Education, and wife Carrie welcomed a baby boy, Jalen Jacob (JJ) Velasco, on July 9, 2005. JJ weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was 22 inches long.
 

Kate Jakeway-Kelly, Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools, reports, “My daughter, Ashlyn Victoria Kelly, was born on May 29, 2005. She has flirty eyes and a dimpled smile that are impossible to resist. Lauren Elizabeth, embracing her two year old status and all that comes with it, is proud of her big sister status and has become very protective of Ashlyn.”
