Ways to Help!
During the recent Celebration of Life event for Dr. Winston Doby, Chancellor Block stated, “Winston's greatest gift was his ability to motivate people to follow the better angels of our nature". We are all inspired by Dr. Doby, a man who spent his life championing education and the empowerment of young people. What better way to pay tribute to his legacy than by helping UCLA provide a more inclusive and level playing field for students.
One way to help is by supporting UCLA’s Student Affairs Leadership Fund which promotes leadership development and a range of diverse interests among students. Another is support for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, which is awarded by the UCLA Black Alumni Association to facilitate UCLA recruiting the best and brightest African American students.
